Born and raised in Los Angeles, California. I started pursuing photography in 2014 while attending Santa Monica College. I fell in love with the process of learning how to shoot and print film. I will never forget the moment of seeing the photo appear on the paper, true magic. Ever since that day I find myself falling in love with photography more and more especially when experimenting with different techniques and expanding my knowledge. The photography program at Santa Monica College challenged me not only creatively but technically as well. It gave me more than I would have ever imagined and made a huge impact on my life. It is apart of the reason why one day I would like to be a teacher to inspire and challenge students. I feel that photography can expand your view of the world.
In 2021, I moved behind the camera into as an Jr. Art Producer at Media Arts Lab. This has given me the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of a full production. It has changed my approach to photography by allowing me to look at the full scope of the project and how each piece is an important part of the puzzle.
After 3 years in advertising I felt a calling to pursue photography again. I aim to use what I’ve learned over the years to create compelling stories and dynamic imagery.
